I am not even sure where to start with this one. While it did deliver on being a solid BL centered on a murder mystery, the logic eventually falls apart entirely. By the time the big reveals happen, you are left wondering "what?"—not out of shock, but because the writing is just that dumb. The most frustrating element involves the main character, who supposedly suffers from memory loss and can only recall the last ten years of his life; if that is the case, it makes no sense that he requires a stranger to mail him a diary to jog his memory about the past. The entire plot felt far too random. Across ten episodes of about fifty minutes each, the show fails to connect its own premise. Even the title, which refers to a specific melody that both hypnotizes and triggers memories for Botpleng, ends up having no actual relevance. The story follows Botpleng, a crime journalist dealing with a mother in a coma and a memory that only spans the last decade. His life shifts when he receives a stranger's diary containing old entries from a period when he was apparently in love with Tankhun. Returning to his hometown, Botpleng finds himself entangled in a double murder case, which leads to his meeting with Tankhun. My feelings on this one are quite conflicted. While the initial mind games and manipulation provide a strong start, the series eventually devolves into a repetitive, confusing slog that caused me to mentally check out. Furthermore, the BL angle feels like an afterthought when measured against the larger story the show is pursuing. Rather than delivering a standard romance, the narrative leans into much darker territory, constructing relationships centered on power dynamics, trauma, and significant emotional imbalance. While I can see this concept succeeding if a creator fully committed to it as a proper drama, my personal patience simply ran out. With each episode lasting around seventy minutes and a total of ten episodes, it is a lot to ask of any viewer. The story centers on two main characters, Vier and Kelvin. As the polished and calculating heir to the VPG group, Vier is a confident man accustomed to winning. Kelvin is his complete opposite: an ignored son from a rival family who must constantly outmaneuver his own relatives just to survive, living under a father who offers no love and an older half brother who treats him like hired help. I have to admit, the show's premise is so wild that I doubt you've ever encountered anything quite like it. It is a massive gamble for any writers' room to tackle a concept this unconventional. Fortunately, the creators opted for a light tone, allowing the audience to ignore the ridiculous setup and instead embrace the humor and cheerful chaos. The entire experience radiates warmth, positivity, and a ton of heart. While there are certainly plenty of things you could pick apart, they are easy enough to overlook. It runs 10 episodes, each landing 40-45 minutes. Both Pobmek and Solar work as elementary school teachers in a gay relationship. Through various flashbacks, we see that while teaching was always Solar's dream, Pommel originally planned to go into accounting; however, his deep love for Solar led him to switch career paths just so they could both be teachers. A clear divide exists in their professional lives: Solar is a natural who clearly loves the job and is a total hit with the students, whereas Pommel can't get his classroom under control at all. Everything changes for Solar one day following a small accident. Pobmek notices the shift immediately, as his boyfriend simply isn't acting like himself. Solar begins insisting he is actually a seven year old kid named Sun, believing Pommel has kidnapped him and calling him uncle instead.
