Chapter 28(1 / 1)

[Codename: Tyrant's Kid-Raising Plan]

[1. Attempt to further develop the potential of Heavenly Restriction, collect Cursed Tools suitable for this constitution]

[2. Attempt to persuade the Tyrant to act as a punching bag (strikeout) sparring partner for the two seedlings, to tap into their potential]

Kobe Suzuo stopped writing, put away her tablet, tapped her headset:

“Merlin, when you were calculating combat power, you forgot something very important.”

He had a clear smile on his face, at some point, he had already pushed the wheelchair out of the Jellyfish Cursed Spirit's protective range.

The black-haired young man was as gentle as ever, his smile elegant and serene.

Get out of the way!

Look out!

Amidst the screams of the crowd, Kobe Suzuo reached out her arms, catching the falling white-haired youth in her embrace as lightly as if she were catching a bridal bouquet.

Satoru Gojo's arms, which he had held out in front of him, were so numb from the pain that he had lost all sensation; Fushiguro Toji's speed was too immense, his leg strength was so exaggerated that it was unlike a human; when he was kicked away, he had no time to react at all.

He saw the surrounding scenery flash past at high speed, as if time itself had slowed down compared to his movement, making his trajectory traceable.

However, when Satoru Gojo looked up, he suddenly discovered that those black eyes, which always seemed to write out various emotions like a fan chart, were looking at him just as they always did.

Kobe Suzuo held Satoru Gojo and said to Merlin, who was busy "click-clacking" away while capturing CG images:

When it happens around me, destined coincidences are also a part of one's personal strength.

So in a sense, I'm incredibly strong.

Chapter 26: That Couple's Outfit

A wheelchair is, after all, just a wheelchair; the space was simply that small.

The way Kobe Suzuo held Satoru Gojo was not elegant or delicate at all; instead, it gave the illusion of a white-feathered raptor with blue eyes suppressing her.

Satoru Gojo rested his long legs on the armrest, his entire body nestled in Kobe Suzuo's arms, he could catch a faint scent from her.

The blood that had boiled from battling a powerful enemy cooled rapidly, Satoru Gojo couldn't help but shudder.

He could probably guess what kind of awkward situation this was; that bizarre ability of Kobe Suzuo was always exceptionally "effective" at dragging him down with her.

The kick Fushiguro Toji delivered to Satoru Gojo used one hundred percent of his strength; a normal fall would have at least smashed through two walls and created a three-meter-deep crater.

But Kobe Suzuo caught Satoru Gojo, who had slammed into her like a cannonball, with such lightness that the wheelchair didn't move even a single centimeter; it was simply inconceivable.

"Are you feeling any better?" Kobe Suzuo looked at Satoru Gojo with concern, her eyes lowering slightly.

Satoru Gojo blinked, his eyes as clear as baby blue under the sunlight.

He revealed a thoughtful expression, under Kobe Suzuo's gaze, he slowly reached out to wrap his arms around her neck, leaning his upper body intimately against her shoulder. "It hurts," he said.

As if feeling it wasn't impactful enough, Satoru Gojo added a pet name in a high-pitched voice, "Darling~"

The smile on Kobe Suzuo's lips froze.

The elegantly and steadily dressed man took a deep breath, pulled his arm away from his own neck, reached one hand under Satoru Gojo's knees, used the other to support his shoulder, lifting him slightly off his own thighs.

Under a gaze filled with "love" like it was laced with sugar, Kobe Suzuo picked him up, leaned forward, then "splat," dropped Satoru Gojo onto the ground.

The moment Kobe Suzuo let go, Satoru Gojo had already activated Limitless on himself; not even a speck of dust could touch him, yet he still acted aggrieved for show.

“It really hurts, Suzuo, I can't move anymore.”

Satoru Gojo had clearly mastered the art of interacting with Kobe Suzuo, displaying an unparalleled talent for acting spoiled, his voice as sweet as honey.

Kobe Suzuo really couldn't hold it together anymore.

Merlin complained, "High offense but low defense. Young Master, I'm starting to worry that not only will you be unable to win, but you won't even be able to match Satoru-kun's rank."

AI lamented indignantly, "Wasn't the goal to be cat-like? Is this it? Young Master, what happened to your dignity as an adult?"

Kobe Suzuo decisively pulled off her headphones to achieve physical silence; when her fingertips touched her burning earlobes, she was nearly scalded by the unfamiliar, searing heat.

“Suzuo~ Suzu-chan~ Are you listening?” Satoru Gojo was peeking in from the side.

Kobe Suzuo had a headache.

He pulled out the tablet again and, after confirming that the data had been fully collected for this stage, waved toward Fushiguro Toji in the distance, signaling that he could take a break.

Today's special training session is over.

Kobe Suzuo tapped a few times on her tablet. "How should I put this.. the results seem different from what I expected."

I've always been curious about the extent of Satoru-kun's combat power, but since the only Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer on record, Yuki Tsukumo, is currently on a business trip abroad, I haven't had the chance to test it.

But looking at it now, there's still quite a distance to reach Special Grade. Learning the Reverse Cursed Technique requires luck and talent; at this stage, it's more cost-effective to focus on further developing the Cursed Technique through physical conditioning.

Kobe Suzuo spoke, pulling on the sleeve of Suguru Geto, who was standing nearby in a training stance, signaling him to squat down so she could retrieve her glasses.

“I will create a training plan for you all later. As for Suguru, compared to the Limitless passed down through the ancestors, his process of exploration and research will be much longer. In the near future, I will try my best to find information on Grade 1 or higher Cursed Spirits for you; I seek quality over quantity.”

This time, Kobe Suzuo was not wearing gloves, but he still went through the process of wiping them with alcohol wipes before finally placing them back into the glasses case using a cloth as a buffer.

After watching Kobe Suzuo go through that entire routine, Satoru Gojo began to mutter to himself:

Eh, isn't this that incredibly precious, signature-like pair of glasses that Suzuo always wears? So they can actually be taken off? And they can be worn by other people too?

Kobe Suzuo could barely maintain even a stiff fake smile, her voice drifting slightly. "Those glasses have a special effect; didn't Satoru see that long ago?

Satoru Gojo crouched before Kobe Suzuo, his hands resting on his knees and his chin propped against the back of his hand, tilting his head to look at the glasses case in Kobe Suzuo's hands.

The highly curious cat asked, "I can't see its specific function, so I'm very curious—is it a Cursed Tool? Or some kind of special item?"

Snap.

Kobe Suzuo expressionlessly snapped her glasses case shut.

He followed his heart, placing his hand on the top of Satoru Gojo's head with a slight hesitation.

Without the barrier of Limitless, Kobe Suzuo easily touched the snow-white hair, which was as smooth and soft as bird feathers.

His fingertips traced down the strands of hair, wiping away a bloodstain beneath Satoru Gojo's eyes. His eyes, reflecting the sky, squinted uncomfortably as he instinctively leaned back to avoid Kobe Suzuo's subsequent movement.

Kobe Suzuo's agitation finally subsided slightly. When he looked at Satoru Gojo again, his face returned to its usual dignified and composed smile, he answered Satoru Gojo's question in a concise manner:

Smart Glasses. They can record video, connect to the internet, analyze data, search for information, powered by solar energy.

Satoru Gojo's eyes slowly widened.

What kind of high-tech sci-fi work is this?!

Is this even reasonable? This is not reasonable at all!

Having finished tidying himself up, Fushiguro Toji walked to Kobe Suzuo's side. Being perceptive, he understood Kobe Suzuo's hint and pushed the wheelchair toward the exit of the playground.

The Kobe Family's latest scientific achievement: the world's only functional Smart Glasses.

Is this still the Heisei era? I haven't traveled to some other era in the future, have I?

I thought the ultra-thin touchscreen tablet and miniature earphones were the limit of Kobe Suzuo's wealth, but it turns out that being rich really does allow one to do whatever one wants!

Masamichi Yaga arrived with Nobara Iori, his face now devoid of any expression, as if his heart had already died.

Nobara Iori had already heard the situation from Masamichi Yaga before arriving. Seeing the ruins scattered everywhere, she gave a light whistle.

Supervisor, can you build us a lounge with air conditioning and a vending machine in the new playground?

Kobe Suzuo nodded briskly in agreement, letting out a small, cheerful "yes" before saying with a smile, "Thank you, great Supervisor, Shenmen."

After expressing her thanks, Nobara Iori cracked her knuckles with a series of crisp pops, then delivered a powerful palm strike toward Satoru Gojo's back.

That's too rough, Nobara Iori, can you even be called a healer at this rate?

Nobara Iori activated her Reverse Cursed Technique. "An idiot scum who tore down the school and still got injured doesn't deserve any gentle treatment!"

Kobe Suzuo looked up at Fushiguro Toji. After the Heavenly Tyrant's sprained right arm was set back into place by himself, it healed instantly, the bruises caused by his brawl with Satoru Gojo were fading at a rate visible to the naked eye.

He abandoned the idea of asking Iori to help with the treatment and remarked with emotion, "Toji, you're practically a superman."

Taking advantage of the fact that Kobe Suzuo couldn't see, Fushiguro Toji openly rolled his eyes. "Boss, I think besides the bonus, you should also pay me compensation for my injuries."

Kobe Suzuo was very lenient toward her subordinate, who had just been beaten and would most likely continue to be beaten in the future: "Fine, I'll compensate you for mental distress as well."

Fushiguro Toji: You've got money to burn.

Fushiguro Toji: "You got it, boss."

..

The existence of the Jujutsu World is not an absolute secret, but due to its unique nature, it must be treated as one.

Families with deep historical roots, the very top tier of noble houses, the authorities "recognized" by the Jujutsu World—these are the people who have the "qualification" to know of the existence of the Jujutsu World.

Since ancient times, these people's attitude toward the Jujutsu World has been quite subtle, or rather, they have turned a blind eye to it.

The danger of Cursed Spirits is substantial; anyone with a clear head can understand the significance of Jujutsu Sorcerers to humanity, the necessity of the existence of the Director's Department and the Three Great Families.

They cannot see Cursed Spirits, so they know clearly that Jujutsu Sorcerers are "outcasts," and they also know clearly that a group of "madmen" with a thousand-year lineage is not to be provoked.

There is an invisible boundary between the Jujutsu World and the world of ordinary people—a line that everyone knows exists, where they restrain one another but do not interfere with each other.

A banquet that simultaneously invited both Jujutsu Sorcerer clans and the noble families who were aware of the existence of the Jujutsu World—this was an extremely rare occurrence.

How much influence and power must the host possess to have connections with both the Three Great Families of the Jujutsu World and the current top three zaibatsu simultaneously?

It's the Kobe Zaibatsu, of course!

Not only were they a Jujutsu Sorcerer clan, but they also rose from nouveau riche to the ranks of top-tier zaibatsu in just two short years; aside from Kobe Suzuo, one probably wouldn't find another person capable of doing such a thing.

Only Kobe Suzuo had the audacity and the ability to do such a thing.

He prepared news about the Star Plasma Vessel for this banquet, prepared several Grade 1 Cursed Tools, even found a Sukuna's Finger to use as a gimmick.

Kobe Suzuo wanted to create the impression in the outside world that "that bunch of old fossils in the Jujutsu World has finally decided to change their ways and catch up with the times," thereby forcing the higher-ups to make changes.

He didn't believe the Elders would simply play dead and remain indifferent until the very end.

When the arrangements were finalized, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto efficiently wiped out [Q]'s home base.
