Chapter 105(1 / 1)

It was precisely because of this that Gojo Hirohira could clearly realize that his God's Child was not intentionally making things difficult for him.

It was simply because he had happened to stumble upon the matter, Satoru Gojo was merely using him to deliver the message.

Seeing Satoru Gojo gradually becoming impatient and once again clinging to Kobe Suzuo's cheek as if to assert his dominance, Gojo Hirohira gave up on thinking.

Let's get this straight, I'm only responsible for passing on the message.

He emphasized again, "If any uncles or aunts from the Elders Council come looking for you because of this later, I definitely won't step in to help. You'll have to handle it yourself."

Satoru Gojo responded nonchalantly, gave a greeting, turned around to head off happily to take photos.

Gojo Hirohira left with a long sigh; despite being not yet forty years old, he had been made to look exactly like an old man.

Masamichi Yaga hesitated for a while; he felt that Kobe Suzuo was somewhat familiar, but he simply couldn't remember where.

In the end, he said nothing more, leaving with Gojo Hirohira along with the employees following behind him, who didn't dare make a sound.

As soon as he turned around, Satoru Gojo tripped over a stone in an extremely bizarre posture.

His waist rotated one hundred and eighty degrees, his arms, attempting to maintain his balance, traced a semi-circle in the air. As he tumbled headlong toward the ground, Kobe Suzuo caught him by the waist, pulling him gracefully into her embrace.

Just then, a gust of wind blew by, cherry blossom petals fluttered down, swirling around the two of them in a beautiful arc, like a suspended window.

The juniors began complaining again.

It's like they're filming a TV drama.

Those two leads are very good-looking.

“Satoru-senpai, you did that on purpose, didn't you?”

It was definitely intentional. With the distance between the two of them, even if I jumped and twisted my waist, I wouldn't fall into his arms.

“So Satoru-senpai is the Strongest, you are not.”

Is 'Strongest' a term you can just throw around like that?

I've been wanting to say this for a while now—did you learn your fanboying etiquette from Saunai Zhuzhu? You're actually bragging about this?

How dare you! How dare you utter that name! I'm giving you a twenty-four frames per second warning!

That's great. I'm relieved to see that Zenin-senpai's popularity is still just as bad.

I say, it's one thing for you to gossip so loudly, but why do you have to go off-topic?

Then don't come over here to listen; there are already enough people standing behind this cherry blossom tree.

Since you all have the best view.

Stop talking, Satoru-senpai is looking over.

Satoru Gojo, who hadn't experienced being slammed down by a domineering CEO's Passive for a long time, actually felt a sense of nostalgia for a moment.

Because his memories were fragmented and blurred, this sense of nostalgia turned into something novel.

He took the opportunity to hook his arms around Kobe Suzuo's neck, hanging onto her like a cat on a scratching post, looked over her shoulder, giving an evil eyebrow raise to the guys who were hiding and watching the show.

The juniors were left speechless; although their curiosity remained unquenched, they still obediently dispersed.

The surroundings instantly became much quieter.

Once everyone had left, Satoru Gojo suddenly pulled away, but he didn't move too far; he just stopped pressing against him.

Kobe Suzuo saw the red on Satoru Gojo's ears fail to fade, spreading all the way from his neck to his face.

Before Kobe Suzuo could speak, Satoru Gojo whispered an explanation, "I know we aren't in that kind of relationship. What just happened.. was just acting."

Kobe Suzuo froze, finally realizing that something was wrong.

Satoru Gojo saw Kobe Suzuo daze, the gaze behind the dark glasses of Xiao Yuan darkened. He then lowered his voice and added pitifully:

“But a clear identity will help you solidify your anchor even more, right? If it's as a boyfriend, I'll keep you by my side.”

“Besides, you can use my name to get things done. It's better than having an identity that people would forget from time to time, right?”

He used two questions in a row, the sharp part of his aura fading infinitely, looking at Kobe Suzuo with wide, pleading eyes like a kitten.

It had been less than five hours in total since Kobe Suzuo returned.

But because his memories were incomplete, Satoru Gojo had likely misinterpreted something while integrating the information.

Kobe Suzuo reached out to brush the petal from Satoru Gojo's shoulder and gave a soft "Mm."

He said no more, but instead greeted Suguru Geto and Nobara Iori, who were hesitating on the side about whether to step forward, "Hello."

It's not a good time right now; I'll ask later.

..

The Director's Department handled all the various procedures before and after university enrollment, so Suguru Geto and the others' two-week spring break seemed exceptionally leisurely.

Suguru Geto carefully selected and purchased a camera, studied photography for a while, then took Mimiko and Nanako to Disneyland.

Nobara Iori, Mei, Iori went to Hawaii for a school trip.

Meanwhile, Satoru Gojo, who had been clamoring about wanting to go on a date with his boyfriend, had started going missing again; his LINE messages were always met with erratic replies, though he frequently updated his Twitter to showcase his vitality.

But Suguru Geto and Nobara Iori both simultaneously chose to temporarily block Satoru Gojo.

That guy was completely head over heels in love, having practically turned his account into a dedicated space for a romance blogger, with every single post overflowing with the sweet atmosphere of pink bubbles.

It was pure, honeymoon phase.

Strangely enough, as close friends, Suguru Geto and Nobara Iori didn't find anything wrong with Satoru Gojo's state at all; in fact, they felt it was somewhat familiar.

It was precisely because of this sense of familiarity that they did not choose to refuse when they received Satoru Gojo's invitation.

Of course, the two regretted it as soon as they arrived.

They had barely touched the tea and snacks on the table before they already felt full.

“I say, aren't you being a bit too much?”

Nobara Iori finally couldn't stand Satoru Gojo's bombardment of useless information anymore and spoke up to interrupt.

“From the moment you sat down until now, you've done nothing but talk about Suzuo. You're so clingy with him; why didn't you bring him along today?”

Satoru Gojo's face was full of the expression "Do you think I don't want to?" as he stirred the ice cubes in his sparkling water with a straw.

Suzuo has work to do. He said he was going out to meet someone today, so he told me to come find you all by myself.

Suguru Geto froze, sitting up straight, "Suzuo.. Mr. Kobe, he asked you to come find us?"

Satoru Gojo finally seemed to remember something serious and nodded, "Suzuo said he wants to borrow Geto's [Summer Solstice] and Nobara Iori's [Fox Mask]."

Suguru Geto directly took off the prayer beads he had been wearing on his wrist and handed them over without the slightest hesitation.

“You're welcome.”

Nobara Iori nodded immediately after, "I put the Fox Mask in the infirmary; I'll bring it to you once I get back."

Satoru Gojo was startled by their decisiveness and asked, "Haven't you two always cherished these?"

They remained silent for a long time. Nobara Iori lit a cigarette, letting it burn silently between her fingertips before stubbing it out in the ashtray.

When it was time to leave, she replied vaguely, "Perhaps it was simply returning to its original owner."

As the green light was about to turn on, Suguru Geto also called out to Satoru Gojo, waving to his old friend of many years and saying generously, "Satoru, if you ever need anything, call us anytime."

Satoru Gojo had already stepped onto the crosswalk.

He found the atmosphere a bit cringey, as he swung the [Summer Solstice] in his hand, his loud shouting caused passersby to frequently look toward them.

“Thanks! Once I buy some limited-edition sweets, I'm going home to cuddle with Suzuo. Geto, you'd better work hard to ditch that single life too!”

Suguru Geto was dying of embarrassment, covering his face with one hand as he shouted, "Just get lost, you bastard!"

..

Satoru Gojo, using Limitless, carried bags of limited-edition specialty snacks, moving through the queuing crowds as agilely as a snow leopard returning from a hunt, successfully shaking off the surging tide of people.

He left happily, only after walking a distance did he remember that he had already graduated, so he turned around and prepared to head back to his nearby residence.

There were many people in the shop today, but Satoru Gojo had no missions scheduled, so by the time he finished queuing and came out, it was already getting dark.

The streets were bustling, occasionally, one could see duty squads from the Director's Department clearing out Cursed Spirits.

Satoru Gojo saw his junior from the same school from afar, in an incredibly obnoxious manner, he ran up to the weekend overtime worker to show off his limited-edition snacks.

Stepping on the point where the duty squad had erupted, he casually dealt with the Cursed Spirit that still had enough strength to attack.

A blue cursed energy was released silently, Satoru Gojo snapped his fingers, causing the Cursed Spirit that the patrol squad had been fighting for a long time to vanish into thin air.

Satoru Gojo walked with a leisurely pace, greeting the administrator with a sweet greeting when he saw him downstairs, before slowly stepping into the elevator.

He remotely unlocked the electronic lock in advance, kicked open the door with a long leg, walked straight into the house without changing his shoes, placing the exquisite gift bag hanging from his arm onto the console in the entryway.

The sensor light at the entrance turned on automatically, its dim yellow light illuminating only a small, soft patch.

Satoru Gojo put his things away with a series of clatters, then returned to the entrance and walked into the room, shuffling in his slippers.

He was used to taking a shower as soon as he returned to his place, stripping off his coat and shirt as he walked. As he passed the sofa, he casually draped them over the backrest, leaving him in only a slim-fitting black short-sleeved shirt.

The lighting in the room was very dim; the light control system had malfunctioned a while ago and was always somewhat unresponsive, but Satoru Gojo couldn't be bothered to call someone to fix it.

Anyway, he could see in the dark, so there was no need to let strangers invade his territory.

Satoru?? You're back.

The ceiling light, which had remained motionless for a long time while Satoru Gojo was busy, slowly lit up, illuminating the entire room.

Satoru Gojo's thoughts experienced a momentary lapse, like the stuttering that occurs when a system initiates a repair after detecting a malfunction.

Kobe Suzuo sat on a small sofa by the balcony, a laptop resting on her knees, with another device and a tablet placed on a mobile desk within easy reach.

The paper documents were stacked in layers, accumulating to a considerable thickness.

He must have fallen asleep while working; having just woken up, his eyes were squinting from the glare of the light, the corners of his eyes were slightly red.

Satoru Gojo stared at him without blinking, like a startled cat.

Ah, it seems there is quite a bit of turbulence today.

Kobe Suzuo understood, smiled gently, slowly saved the files one by one before closing the system. As he stood up with the tablet, he was nearly tripped by the tangled equipment cables by the edge of the sofa.

Satoru Gojo instinctively reached out, but Kobe Suzuo had already stood up on her own, showing him the canvas that Satoru Gojo had only half-finished before leaving the house today.

The Balloon Flower, outlined in golden lines, swayed and bloomed as if it were alive, growing and extending, only to come to an abrupt halt midway.
